Wheels, steering heads, suspension linkages, swingarms and several other parts of a motorcycle use various bearings to allow them to operate correctly. When these start to fail they can either seize up or go slack, and neither option makes for a correctly operating bike. We use only quality bearings from trusted suppliers, and can fit 99% of bearings in house.
Considering that the tyre is the only contact your machine has with the road, this is one place where you don't want to be taking any gambles. We can supply tyres from most brands, and can fit and balance them in house. Customers are also welcome to supply their own new tyres for us to fit.
You may be surprised just how many rubber seals a motorcycle contains - there can be 20 used in the front and rear suspension alone. Some are used for keeping dust, grit and water away from bearings, while others are used to keep oil where it belongs. When these oil seals fail, and the oil they hold back leaks out, it can cause major issues with the handling, braking and traction of your bike, not to mention this can cause issues at mot time.
Whether your bike has 18bhp or 180, if it has a chain drive then you don't want it failing on you. Having a chain snap can cause catastrophic damage, and having worn sprockets can cause accelerated chain wear, along with multiple other problems. Keeping your chain and sprockets in good condition allows for better throttle response and control of the bike, along with a smoother and quieter ride.
One part that definitely shouldn't be overlooked, whether its routine servicing or replacing parts to keep your brakes working 100%, we can look after it all. We insist on using only quality parts when dealing with brakes, and will never fit brake components we believe to be inferior.
